100 Word Challenge Week 36

I had an amazing time participating in the 100 Word Challenge this year! I had so much fun, and it really made me a better writer. Looking back, I remember writing the Week 28 Challenge. It was my favorite post that I’ve ever done because it let me use my creative writing skills. We had to write about a picture that I interpreted as bats, so I called them Mixxy Bats. It was so much fun! I loved using my creativity to its fullest potential. Afterall, that’s when I write best! I loved doing the 100 Word Challenge this year. Thanks for being so awesome!

100 Word Challenge Week 35

On the street, I saw them. The ancient ruins of Caldomia. To everyone else they looked like a sculpture of giant dominoes, but I saw them as they truly were. The landmark of the end of the Bezuns War. But, sadly, Caldomia exists no more. It was taken over by the Europeans, and destroyed. Over time, Caldomia was forgotten about. Only few still remember its tale. This was the land where unicorns roamed and dragons were slayed. Princes were valiant knights that went to save princesses. Now this land is no more. Its beauty was destroyed, and it was forever lost.

100 Word Challenge Week 34

One day, I was in the workplace. I saw a glass of water on the desk of my coworker. I thought it was just a glass, but I saw it start to shake. Then it started to morph. First, it started to grow. Then, then it changed into a big, ugly, furry, monstrous vulture. It was staring directly at me with its big, beedy, yellow eyes. Then, it flew over to a strange man I didn’t know. It picked him up the by the shoulders and flew out the window. And to think, it looked just like a glass of water.

100 Word Challenge Week 33

Once there was a businessman in his office on a dreary, rainy day. Everything in his office was practical. The only colors in there were gray, tan, white, and black. Then he saw a bright colored thing on his table. It was a hat and it was different bright colors. Then a lady walked in and retrieved it. As the lady walked out, the businessman said, ” Why was that hat on the table?” She replied, ” I thought your office could use more color for a change.”  Then she walked out, and the businessman just looked at her. Maybe she’s right, he thought.

100 Word Challenge Week 30

One time a family was sitting in front of the TV. It was a mom, a dad, a cat, and a boy named Gerald. The family was watching a football game. The quarterback was running down the field to go for a touchdown. Then all of a sudden, he fell over a guy tying his shoe. The quarterback did a flip in the air and face planted onto the ground. When he saw this, Gerald just couldn’t stop laughing. Everyone at the game was laughing, too. Even the coaches. The player just laid there while everybody laughed for 5 minutes straight. It was hilarious!

100 Word Challenge Week 29

One day I was at the zoo! I was walking around with my family when a giraffe took my golden brown pretzel. All of the salt came flying off and landed everywhere. Because the ground was so hot, the salt looked like it was melted after a couple of minutes. It looked really greasy, too! I was so mad at the giraffe for taking my pretzel, but then I got a new pretzel. I was in the middle of eating it when a monkey came and took it! I was done with trying to eat pretzels. I guess the animals didn’t want me to!

Blogging Reflection!

I had so much fun doing the Student Blogging Challenge! I also occasionally wrote the 100 Word Challenge. I wrote 12 posts during this period and I will definitely continue to write over the summer. I received 25 comments from my friends, teacher, and other bloggers. My favorite post was writing the 100 Word Challenge Week 28. The picture was very mysterious and it was fantasy looking, so it allowed me to be very creative when I wrote it. I thought the picture looked like a lot of bats, so I called them Mixxy Bats. I also used Google Forms during Student Blogging Challenge Week 6 to be creative.

The thing I liked most about blogging was connecting with other people. It gave me a chance to learn and read at the same time. I improved throughout the challenge by becoming a better writer each week. I liked writing about the country better than doing the music survey, but all the posts were so much fun! I love blogging and I will try to continue for a really long time!

He creates a capsule that will explode when it hits the pack of Jurgonauts. It will wipe them out and give the Mixxy Bats peace again. The mixxy bats throw it, and it hits the Jurgonauts and explodes. Peace is restored forever!

Student Blogging Challenge Week 9

There are many things that people already know about me, but what about the things that they don’t know? There are several things that I do or like that people don’t know about me. Here are some of those things

  1. When my hands are full of things, I tend to use my feet. When I have a laundry basket in my hands and my door is closed, I turn the door knob with my foot and push it open.
  2. I eat Pop Tarts every day of the week. I love them so much, and I eat all of the different kinds.
  3. I collected all 50 state quarters, and I keep them in book. I even collected the territories such as Guam and Puerto Rico.
  4. I have so many books that I have no where to keep them. I have 2 storage bins of them in my room, and I have some of my other books in my siblings’ rooms. I have a lot on my nightstand, dresser, and bed. I even have some in my closet.
  5. I love to write and come up with my own stories. I have all the characters lives planned out and the plot too!

Those are some things people didn’t know about me. Comment and tell me about things people didn’t know about you!
