Kingdom Keepers is an AMAZING book series. It is by Ridley Pearson and the first book was published in 2005. The books are set in present time Disney World. I would definitely give these books 5 stars because they are so good!
Disney Imagineer, Wayne Kresky, has come up with the idea to have DHIs walk around the park. DHI stands for Disney Host Interactive. They are holograms that walk around the parks and talk to guests. The DHIs were also modeled after teenagers. Finn Whitman was kind of leaning away from being a DHI, but he finally decided to do it along with four others: Charlene Turner, Willa Angelo, Terence Maybeck, and Dell Philby.
When Finn goes to bed, he finds himself in the Magic Kingdom. He looks down at himself and sees that he is not fully human. Wayne is there with Finn and tells him that he is half human, half DHI. The other DHIs find out that they can cross over at night and go through the parks. Wayne tells them that the Disney Villains, the Overtakers, are threatening to destroy Disney World.
